About the Journal

INTAN Jurnal Penelitian Tambang is published by the Undergraduate Mining Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Universitas Papua, Manokwari. The journal serves as a medium for disseminating knowledge and understanding of scientific, technological, economic, social, and environmental aspects of the mining industry, encompassing findings from field- and laboratory-based research as well as literature reviews. The journal is published biannually, in May and November.

INTAN Jurnal Penelitian Tambang has been accredited as a scientific journal based on the Decree of the Director General of Research and Development, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, No. 10/C/C3/DT.05.00/2025. The accreditation is valid through Volume 9, Issue 2 (2026).
